Meeting on "Americ Divided"
The Rennie Discussion Group, named for its founder, Dr. Wesley F. Rennie, was established in 1956 with the intention of providing a forum for discussions on subjects of interest to club members. These may include such topics as foreign and domestic policy, politics, artificial intelligence, education, economics, and sports.
Members and their wives and guests are encouraged to attend and contribute to the conversation. The only requirement is that all discussions remain civil and germane to the topic.
The Rennie Discussion Group meets at the Osterville Library, usually on the second Wednesday of the month, one week after the Club's luncheon, at 10:00 a.m. Each session tends to last about 90 minutes. Members receive an email a week or two before the meeting that provides the topic to be discussed and other pertinent information. The group meets every month from September through May with the exception of December.
